project overview.

The Year 2026 marks the 250th Anniversary of the founding of the United States of America and the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

In 2016, the non-partisan US Semiquincentennial Commission was established under President Barack Obama with the purpose of patriotic education. Since then, both the Biden and Trump administrations have actively and enthusiastically supported this event.

The America 250 Committee designated Charleston, SC along with New York, NY, Philadelphia, PA, and Boston, MA as leading cities for their historical significance in the American Revolution.

The primary mission of America 250 is to engage, educate, and entertain Millennials, GenZers, GenAlphas, as well as the mainstream public. The secondary mission is to share the lesser known and the untold stories of the US War of Independence.

To achieve these objectives, Carpe Nox Entertainment has aligned with several internationally and nationally renowned multimedia studios to create an immersive, non-partisan experience that will bring to life through cutting-edge technology the events and battles of the American Revolution.

Educational Mission

Studies show that Gen Z spends over 75% of their free time on digital experiences, and over 60% say they prefer interactive or immersive environments over passive forms of content like lectures or documentaries. Gen Alpha, growing up entirely in the digital age, is even more attuned to multi-sensory, tech-forward learning.

Exhibitions like iMRSV 1776 meet these audiences as they are bridging education with awe-inspiring environments that promote active exploration. Just as nearly half of Immersive Van Gogh attendees went on to visit a traditional museum, iMRSV 1776 is designed to ignite curiosity that extends beyond the exhibit walls and into a lifelong interest in American history. â€‹
